Sigma Kappa Sorority: Living with Heart for the Brain

 

The women of have partnered with the Alzheimer’s Association® since 1984 to help realize our vision of a world without Alzheimer’s disease. Thousands of Sigma Kappa members have volunteered countless hours raising awareness for the Alzheimer’s movement and funds to accelerate the pace of discovery in Alzheimer’s research.

Over more than three decades of an unwavering commitment to our cause, Sigma Kappa sisters have raised and donated more than $9 million to the Alzheimer’s Association.

In 2014 Sigma Kappa Foundation pledged a bold commitment of $1 million as the first philanthropic investor in the . In recognition of this extraordinary commitment Sigma Kappa became a member of the Alzheimer’s Association Zenith Society, a group of philanthropists who set the bar for leadership giving, engagement and impact in critical mission areas of Alzheimer’s care, advocacy, awareness and research.
